"Predatory Tactics, Misleading Discounts, and Invasive Follow-Ups — Be Warned After entering my information online for an insurance quote, I was immediately bombarded with phone calls from multiple numbers. Within minutes, agents were calling, leaving voicemails—even while I was in meetings—claiming they could offer better deals than what I saw online. It quickly became clear that these were not helpful follow-ups, but high-pressure sales tactics designed to rush me into signing up. There was no meaningful discount for speaking with an agent, despite their promises. One agent, Nick Gambino, even asked me to mention him by name in a five-star review—while doing very little to actually help me understand the policy. The $10 gift card they dangle is just bait, not a customer benefit. They also pushed a tracking device (“beacon”) for a so-called discount, without explaining that the discount disappears if you don’t use it—and may never materialize even if you do. This felt deceptive, and I never consented to being tracked. The entire experience was invasive, misleading, and downright unethical. These agents pretend to be friendly but are clearly incentivized to say whatever it takes to close a sale. Do your research, and be extremely cautious—don’t trust the agents’ claims without written proof. To Nick Gambino: you need proper training. Stop pushing people into policies they don’t understand. Stop lying to customers. Be honest. Be better. ⸻"

"Hello, Matt. When you request an online quote, especially through third-party sites, your information is often sold to multiple agencies, leading to numerous calls from various companies. Our agents aim to provide timely assistance, but we understand this process can result in a high volume of calls and can be frustrating, so we apologize if we add to that frustration. Regarding the Drive Safe & Save (DSS) program, the initial 10% discount applies when the "beacon" device is set up, with potential for up to 30% at renewal based on driving. If the device isn't used, the initial discount is removed. Explicit consent for any tracking device is always required. Our agents are trained to provide clear information and work consultatively. "I just recently purchased a car, and made a few phone calls with other insurance companies. I was quoted higher auto policies and on the phone with a representative for two hours and no policy. I hung up and immediately called State Farm. I talked with NICK, who was able to get me an auto policy in 30 minutes!! He was very nice and helpful, and made this process so much easier for me. In 30 minutes vs 2 hours I was able to drive my car off the lot and be fully covered! I needed to adjust my deductibles and spoke with NATE. He explained the benefits and coverage clearly. I was able to make my adjustments easily and now feel confident about my auto policy! Thank you State Farm."

"Nik Gambino thank you so much! He is very kind, sweet and kind. I was answered by an actual person instead of an answer machine. State Farm is amazing and the insurance follows the person instead of just the vehicle. This should be standard of all insurance companies.
